About Sam

Sam Shepherd-Barron is a English speaking specialist climbing tree surgeon living in the South of France.

Sam has over 10 years of experience owning his own successful tree surgery business in the UK where he serviced private residential properties, stud farms and National Trust properties. He has lived in Provence since January 2023 when he moved to be closer to his wife’s family who are based there.

He is qualified to NPTC level in the UK, a higher standard than is legally required in France.

As well as tree surgery, Sam offers garden maintenance services from hedge cutting to weeding and grass cutting as well as pool maintenance and other outdoor management and upkeep tasks like painting and can be employed on a one-off or regular basis.
